Can I rent a boat without a captain?

No, all boat rentals in Khasab include a licensed captain and crew. This is required by Omani maritime regulations and ensures safety in the fjord waters. Our captains know every cove and snorkelling spot.

What is included in the boat rental price?

All rentals include the captain, crew, fuel, life jackets, and basic safety equipment. Traditional dhows also include snorkelling gear, drinks, and fresh fruits. Fishing boats include rods and basic tackle. Special requests (BBQ, decorations) can be arranged.

Can I customise the route?

Absolutely! While we have recommended routes covering the best spots, the captain will work with you to create a custom itinerary. Popular stops include Telegraph Island, Seebi Island, dolphin areas, and secluded swimming coves.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 2–3 days in advance, especially during peak season (October to April) and weekends. For luxury yachts and holiday periods, book 1–2 weeks ahead.

Can I rent a boat for a sunset cruise?

Yes! Sunset boat rentals are very popular. We offer 2-hour sunset slots starting around 4 PM (varies by season). Pricing is similar to half-day rates. Perfect for proposals, anniversaries, or simply enjoying the golden hour.
