The 3.5-hour drive each way means a lot of road time in one day. With an overnight stay, you arrive relaxed, enjoy the cruise without rushing, explore Khasab town in the evening, and do the mountain safari fresh the next morning. It is a noticeably better experience for just AED 350 more.

The drive is approximately 250 km and takes 3.5 to 4 hours depending on traffic and the border queue. The route goes via the E311 highway through Dubai territory and Ras Al Khaimah, then through the Hajar Mountains to the Tibat border crossing. Our experienced drivers make this trip regularly and know the optimal times to travel.

We pick up from all areas of Abu Dhabi including Corniche, Yas Island, Saadiyat Island, Al Reem Island, Khalifa City, Al Raha, Airport area, and Mussafah. For Al Ain residents, we can arrange a special pickup point along the E611 highway. Minimum 2 passengers required for Abu Dhabi pickups.

The additional cost covers the longer transport distance (250 km vs 150 km from Dubai). Abu Dhabi requires an extra hour of driving each way, which means more fuel, more driver hours, and an earlier start time. Rain is rare in Musandam, but storms occasionally occur in winter. If conditions are unsafe for boating, the local port authority cancels all cruises. In that case, we offer a full refund or a free date change. We monitor weather 48 hours ahead and will notify you in advance if there is any risk. Mountain safari trips are rarely affected by weather.

Yes. If you are a tourist arriving at Abu Dhabi International Airport and want to head straight to Musandam, we can collect you from the airport terminal. This is popular with transit tourists who have a long layover or are spending a few days in the UAE. Just share your flight details and we will be waiting at arrivals.
