دليل السفر
From Jeddah, fly to Dubai (approximately 2.5 hours) with daily services on Saudia, flynas, flydubai, and Emirates from King Abdulaziz International Airport. Upon landing at DXB, collect a pre-booked rental car and drive 2.5 hours north on the E11 to Khasab via the Tibat border. Door-to-door travel from Jeddah to Khasab takes roughly 8–9 hours including transfers, so plan for an overnight stop in Dubai or RAK.
أفضل وقت للمغادرة
The most practical approach is to fly to Dubai the afternoon or evening before your Khasab trip, stay near the airport, and depart early the next morning. Direct Jeddah–Dubai flights cluster around midday and late evening. Taking the noon flight gets you to Dubai by 4:30 PM local time, leaving ample time to settle in and prepare for an early 5:00 AM drive the next day.
التأشيرة والحدود
Saudi nationals enter both the UAE and Oman visa-free as GCC citizens. Non-Saudi residents of Jeddah must verify visa requirements for both countries — many nationalities need a UAE visa (obtainable online) and a separate Oman visa. Allow extra processing time and ensure you have printed copies of all e-visas before reaching the airports and the Tibat border.

- Trying to do Jeddah–Dubai–Khasab all in one day, arriving exhausted and missing the morning tours.
- Flying into DXB Terminal 1 but booking a rental at Terminal 2, causing a 30-minute inter-terminal shuttle delay.
- Not verifying Oman cross-border insurance on the rental, which can void your coverage past Tibat.
- Packing for beach weather only — Khasab mountain safaris at altitude can be 10°C cooler than Jeddah.
