As the sun sets behind the mountains, your campfire crackles to life. The crew prepares a traditional BBQ feast with fresh-caught fish and Omani specialties. We camp on secluded beaches along the Musandam coast, accessible only by boat. The exact location varies based on weather and tides, but all spots are stunning — think pristine sand, crystal-clear water, and mountains rising directly from the beach.

Is beach camping safe?

Yes, our experienced crew stays with you throughout. The beaches are sheltered from strong currents, and we provide all safety equipment. Our guides are trained in first aid and carry emergency communication devices.

What should I bring for camping?

Wear comfortable clothes and bring: swimwear, towel, sun protection, torch/headlamp, personal medications, insect repellent, and warm layer for night. We provide tents, sleeping bags, food, and water.

Can families with children go camping?

Absolutely! Beach camping is a wonderful family experience. Children love the adventure of sleeping under the stars. We recommend ages 5+ for the best experience.

What if it rains?

Rain is extremely rare in Musandam (less than 10 days per year). If weather is unsuitable, we offer a full refund or reschedule. Our tents are waterproof as an extra precaution.

Are there toilet facilities?

We set up a private portable toilet tent at the campsite. For washing, you can use the sea water and we provide fresh water for rinsing.

What food is served?

BBQ dinner includes grilled fish, chicken, rice, salads, and traditional Omani bread. Breakfast features eggs, bread, cheese, fruit, and tea/coffee. Vegetarian options available on request.

What is the best season for beach camping?

October to April offers ideal temperatures (20–30°C). Summer camping (May–September) is very hot during the day but evenings are warm and pleasant. Winter camping is the most popular.
